Wuthering Waves has finally arrived, and with all the actions, combat, elements, and open-world features, this can be named as one game that will make you play over and over without a rest. For this excitement and to make the gameplay this interesting, the game modes played the biggest role because each and every one of them has different activities that are unique to their own. So, do you have an idea of what these game modes are?
Other than the Wuthering Waves gacha system, the echo system, and many other features, the game modes are what bring many exciting activities to the players, so today, let us give you an overview of it. We are going to discuss what these game modes are, what you have to do there, and what rewards you can earn from them with this guide.
Forgery Challenge
Let’s start the game modes guide for Wuthering Waves beginners with the Forgery Challenge. To do a forgery challenge will cost you 40 waveplates. This is where you can earn some Forte upgrade and weapon ascension materials, and we have five types of stages coming under this challenge.
- Forgery Challenge: Flaming Remnants
- Forgery Challenge: Eroded Ruins
- Forgery Challenge: Marigold Woods
- Forgery Challenge: Moonlit Groves
- Forgery Challenge: Misty Forest
Every one of these stages has to proceed with different types of weapons, so you have to choose the right character from the Wuthering Waves tier list and match with his weapons to continue with this game mode. Remember that you have to spend 60 waveplates to participate in this game mode.
Simulation Field
Another dungeon type of mode in the Wuthering Waves game, which allows you to farm resources, is the Simulation Field, which acts as a basic stage for resource mining. The simulation field will again be divided into four fields:
- Simulation Resonance Potion
- Simulation: Shell Credits
- Simulation: Energy Core
- Simulation: Sealed Tube
Based on these four different simulation fields. The resources that this field offers will be varied, and for one simulation field, you will need to spend 40 waveplates. This is how the materials are distributed for each field.
- Resonator EXP materials in the Resonance Potion
- Shell Credits in the Shell Credits
- Weapon EXP materials in the Energy Core
- Echo EXP materials in the Sealed Tube
Tacet Field Cleanup
The next game mode in the Wuthering Waves game is Tacet Field Cleanup, and this is where you can earn some echoes, echo tune-up materials, and echo EXP materials. There are different fields to follow in this game mode, and each will offer you unique set effects; remember that this.
Boss Challenges
The next game mode will be the boss challenges, and when you beat bosses in this game mode, you can earn more resonator ascension materials. Not all bosses will be the same, so they're dropping materials. So, before you try to beat a boss in this mode, you better see if the dropped materials of that particular boss are really necessary for you or not. You have to spend 60 waveplates to earn your rewards from one time by doing a boss challenge, and once you manage to kill a boss, they can restart the challenge after 3 minutes.
Weekly Challenges
As you can already guess from the name, this game mode comes with challenges that you can do in a week, and there will be weekly bosses to face here. They can all drop you different upgrade materials for forte, EXP materials for weapons, standard weapon molds, and even some Echo EXP materials. Since these tasks will reset within a week, you only have a chance to claim these offers once within a week. Like in other game modes, here, you will also have to spend 60 waveplates to participate in a weekly challenge.
Tower of Adversity
In this game mode of Wuthering Waves, you will have to face a set of enemies at once and then beat them quickly. When you successfully manage to do so, you can earn 0 to 3 crests based on the time you spend to beat that particular enemy set. So, if you want to earn more quality rewards here, you can try your best to earn more credits. Even though you can start things easily at the beginning of this game mode, things get way more challenging when you proceed more of the stages because the difficulty levels rise as you progress in this game mode.
You can deal with three subsections on the tower of adversity as follows.
- Hazard Zone – this comes with a total of 10 stages, and you earn Astrites with them. These stages are way more challenging than usual, and you can do them again and again as these stages are resetting with time.
- Stable Zone – you can deal with four stages here, and this zone is not allowed to earn rewards repeatedly at all. So, there will be a one-time rewardonetime scheme in this zone.
- Experimental Zone – Altogether, there will be eight stages to compete here, and you can earn Astrites as a one-time reward in this zone, too.
Remember that in the Tower of Adversity, we will deal with a stamina system called Vigor as well, and for each zone in this game mode, this system will be unique. Every resonator you use for your Wuthering Waves gameplay here will start his challenge with ten vigor, and they have to meet the required vigor amount to participate in these stages, or else, he will be disqualified for that particular stage.
Tactical Hologram
This is a game mode where you will have to face a challenge with a boss, and there will be one-time fights here. And the more you play, the more difficulty level it is going to raise. By taking part in this game mode, you will be able to earn more Drill data sets as well as Echo.
Depths of Illusive Realm
This one is different from the other game modes in the Wuthering Waves game, and you will literally be asked to enter another simulated world here. From there, resonators can find many buffs, which will eventually help them with their strength in the fights, and those will also increase their overall team’s strength. There is a final stage where you will have to meet a boss here, and until then, you will have to pass through a set of stages with both combat and non-combat features.
You don’t have to spend anything to take part in this game mode, so basically, this can be considered as a free mode. And the best thing is that you can take part in it as much as you want and then earn more upgrade materials as well as the Astrites.
If you are planning on having a high-powered hero to put into these game modes, remember that you can do your Wuthering Waves reroll through LDPlayer 9 and increase your chances of earning a high-rarity hero. It can clone your game through the Multi-Instance Sync feature, so you are free to reroll through all those clones and have the highest chance to earn a high-ranked hero.
Conclusion
And that is it. These are all the game modes that you need to be aware of, and it is time to put all your strength into making it for powerful gameplay there. So, just have powerful gameplay by looking into all these modes, and it is time to make it a great adventure.
