Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5 Release Date
HoYoverse officially announced on 10 January 2025 that the Zenless zone zero version 1.5, “Astra-nomical Moment,” will be released worldwide from 22 January 2025. Version 1.5 will introduce new features over two phases, continuing until March 4. New agents and weapon banners will be divided into these two phases, with the banners appearing at the start of each phase.
Phase One
Phase one will begin with the arrival of the new version on January 22. The “Thousand Melodies” banner will introduce a new Agent, Astra Yao, available for players to pull from the banner. Additionally, another S-Rank Agent, Ellen, is returning in this version with the “Mellow Waveride” banner.
Phase Two
Phase two will begin after February 12 and end on March 4, 2025. The “Web of Light and Shadow” banner will be featured in phase two, introducing the newest S-rank Agent, Evelyn, to the game. Additionally, the S-Rank Agent Qingyi will return with the “Untainted Jade” banner during phase two.
Special Banners of ZZZ 1.5 Update
In the upcoming version, two weapon banners will also be released. Dissonant Sonata Banner will feature Elegant Vanity and Heartstring Nocturne, which are S Rank rarity weapons and which are the signature weapons of the Astro Yao and Evelyn Chevalier and, alongside some A rank rarity weapons like Demara Battery Mark II, Housekeeper, Drill Rig - Red Axis and The Vault.
Dazzling Choir Banner also features two S-rank rarity weapons, Deep Sea Visitor and Ice-Jade Teapot, which are the signature weapons of Ellen and Qingyi, who are returning to Version 1.5.
This unique banner, “An Outstanding Partner,” is dedicated to recruiting the Bangboo called “Snap”, which is newly invented by the upcoming version.
Upcoming Agents from Version 1.5
The upcoming version of Zenless Zone Zero will introduce two new S-Rank Agents to the game and some beloved returning agents from past versions.
Astra Yao
Astra Yao is the newest upcoming S-Rank Agent in Zenless Zone Zero and the first-ever healer introduced to the game. Astra is an Ether Support Agent who excels at empowering her team by providing strong power boosts and healing them when injured. Additionally, she contributes steady damage in battles.
Astra possesses a unique special state called “Idyllic Cadenza,” which amplifies squad performance. Her ultimate ability restores HP to allies while dealing damage to enemies.
Evelyn Chevalier
Evelyn is the loyal guardian of Astra Yao and an S-Rank Fire Attack Agent. She wields fiery prowess through her signature ability to generate Burning Tether Points, which unleash devastating Chain Attacks.

Astra Yao's signature weapon. It is an S-Rank supportive weapon, and players can collect it from the "Dissonant Sonata" banner during phase one.
Heartstring Nocturne
