Astra Yao Gameplay Mechanics
Astra Yao is the newest S-Rank agent featured in the upcoming Zenless Zone Zero version 1.5 update banner "Thousand Melodies". She's the first limited Ether-damaging support S-Rank agent in Zenless Zone Zero. Astra has a unique set of abilities that buff her allies' attack, crit damage, damage bonus, and heal the squad. She's also a popular singer and the first agent from the "Star of Lyra" faction, a new music group introduced to the game.
What sets Astra Yao apart from other agents is her hybrid role as a healer and damage buffer. Her most valuable combat feature is her Special Attack, which provides bonus damage and crit damage buffs. This special attack doesn't require energy. Using her Special Skill, Astra deals Ether damage and enters a unique state called Idyllic Cadenza.
In the Idyllic Cadenza State, Astra begins a mini concert, supporting her team with powerful buffs. While in this state:

Weeping Cradle
This is an alternative S-Rank weapon for Astra. This W-Engine significantly increases her overall damage as well as that of her teammates. With a high base attack of 684 and an effect that boosts squad bonus damage, this W-Engine greatly impacts the outcome of battles when equipped by Astra Yao.
Kaboom the Cannon
This is an A-Rank W-Engine and an alternative weapon for Astra. Its effect provides up to a 16% bonus attack for an 8-second buff duration. It has a base ATK of 624 and also grants Astra 50% energy regeneration.

This A-Rank W-Engine is well-suited for Astra due to its high base ATK of 624 and 50% energy regeneration.
